Can I send files to my personal Frontier Webspace without using FTP?

Here's how to send web pages, images and other files to your Frontier Webspace using Internet Explorer 8:
  1. Open Internet Explorer:
    • For @frontier.com email addresses:
      • Type ftp://username@myplace.frontier.com, with your chosen username, into the address bar.
    • For @frontiernet.net, @citilink.net, @newnorth.net, gvni.com email addresses:
      • Type ftp://username@frontiernet.net, with your chosen username, into the address bar.
    • For @epix.net email addresses:
      • Please use an FTP program to upload files to your Frontier Webspace.
  2. Type your username and password into the Login window.

  3. Once you’re connected to the FTP site, you’ll see two folders Click to Open the Public HTML folder.

  4. Copy or drag the picture you want as your Account Photo to the Public HTML window. You (and others) can now view your photo online.

  5. To access your photo online Open Internet Explorer:
    • For @frontier.com email addresses:
      • Type http://myplace.frontier.com/-username/picturename.extension, with your chosen username and picture name, into the address bar.
    • For @frontiernet.net, @citilink.net, @newnorth.net, @gvni.com email addresses:
      • Type http://www.frontiernet.net/-username/picturename.extension, with your chosen username and picture name, into the address bar.

        You will now be able to view your picture.
