These benefits reflect our understanding that you have needs both in and outside of work, and you deserve to be rewarded for your contributions to our shared success.
Frontier Communications is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and makes employment decisions without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, citizenship status, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status or any other legally protected class. It's Frontier Communications' belief that having a diverse workforce is essential to being a responsible employer. A commitment to diversity allows us to take advantage of the skills of all of our employees and to enjoy the goodwill of our customers and regulators. We have a collective responsibility to foster an environment where differences are valued and where people who look, talk and think differently can come and work productively together. It is incumbent upon us to nurture this part of our corporate culture, by hiring and promoting diverse candidates, ensuring that our employees are mentored properly and maintaining an environment where all employees feel welcome and valued. Diversity is neither about quotas nor the personal, political or philosophical preferences of our various employees. Rather, a dedication to diversity and the actions we must take as a company to ensure a diverse workforce is a responsibility that we have as an employer and is required as a matter of law. Dedication to and encouragement of diversity is an inherent term and condition of employment with Frontier. Our managers must strive to achieve a diverse workforce if they are to be considered effective in their jobs. It is understood that turning our commitment to diversity into action and action into results requires extra effort. Thus, all of our employees must give diversity efforts their full support.
"We believe in equal opportunity for all workers, regardless of age, and that 50+ workers should have a level playing field in their ability to compete for and obtain jobs. Recognizing the value of experienced workers, we pledge to recruit across diverse age groups and to consider all applicants on an equal basis as we hire for positions within our organization".
For many people, nothing is more important than flexibility. That means having options – from the benefits you receive to the actual work that you do and when or where you do it. We understand this at Frontier, which is why we offer a number of flexible work arrangements to satisfy people who are in a variety of life stages, from college to post-retirement.
We place a premium on the specialized skills of our people, especially those who have retired after years of dedicated service and contribution. Through our Pro Resource program, we invite Frontier retirees back to work with us during peak times of the year and/or through our Take the Lead sales incentive program. This allows Frontier to quickly activate people with relevant skill sets and allows individuals to engage in work on their terms.
Many of our retirees have taken advantage of the program. Not only are they familiar with our systems and practices, they typically retain relationships with current employees, which allow them to fit in quickly when they come back. Some restrictions apply (for example, hours worked per week and per year and a minimum period of retirement).
