Hi I’m Chrissy, and I’ll be walking you through the process of how to install your Frontier Secure Multi-Device Security service.
You should have received an email from Frontier Secure which includes your username and password for the service. Please open that email in your inbox and click on the Activate Now button. Also be sure to copy your password so you don’t have to type it in by hand during the next step.
This will take you to a login screen for Multi-Device Security. Because your security and privacy is our number one priority at Frontier Secure, you’ll be asked to change your password immediately.
Set up a new preferred password and then log in using your new password. Once you’ve logged in you’ll have access to the Multi-Device Security portal and you’ll see this screen. Just click on the plus sign to start protecting your devices. For this example we’ll install security on a Windows computer although the system will automatically recognize the device you’re currently using whether it’s a PC, Mac, smartphone or tablet.
Click Continue and then name the device something unique so that you can easily identify the device being protected. Click the Download Now button to begin the download process. You’ll need to run the application so it can be downloaded to your device. Based on the browser you’re using the dialog box will appear in a different area on your screen. Once you’ve clicked the Run button the software will begin to install on your device. Be aware, you may need to restart your PC or Mac during this installation process, in which case the setup will continue automatically after the restart. All you need to do is follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
And when the installation is finalized, you’ll see this screen. Your device’s now being protected by Multi-Device Security from Frontier Secure.
