How to Enable SMTP Authentication in Mac Entourage
On the Mail tab click to select your Frontier account and click Edit.
Note: If you receive email from a provider other than Frontier, the name on the Mail tab may differ from what appears in the image shown here.
On the Account Settings tab look at the Receiving mail and Sending mail sections.

If you were instructed to select Click here for advanced sending options in Step 4:
- Place a checkmark to the left of SMTP server requires authentication.
- Select Log on using and enter your complete Frontier, FrontierNet, Citlink, Newnorth or Epix email address in the Account ID field. If your email address is in the format of email@example.com, change ctaz.com to citlink.net (example: firstname.lastname@example.org becomes email@example.com). Please note, this will not change your email address.
- Enter the Password for this account. Click the square in the upper left corner of the window when complete.
