If you frequently check your email in multiple locations, such as your home computer, your work computer, and your smartphone, then leaving your messages on the server—at least for a period of time—will ensure that you can get to your messages no matter where you are.
To configure your email software to leave your mail on the mail server, here are some very general instructions. They may not match your software exactly, but they will help you find the right place to change this setting.
Launch your email software and:
- Click Tools > Accounts > Mail tab.
- Click to select your Frontier, FrontierNet, Citlink, New North, Epix, or GVNI email account, then click Properties.
- Click the Advanced tab at the top of the window. Click to enable the checkbox next to Leave a Copy of Messages on Server.
- Click Apply > OK > Close.
