Add a Web Counter

A web counter lets you see how many times your page has been visited. Counters typically look something like the odometer on a car and are incremented with each new visit. Because our customers have asked us about web counters so often, we're including a bunch of them here for you to choose from.

Some basic instructions:

  1. Choose your favorite counter below and copy the code for it (e.g., <img src="/cgi-bin/Count.cgi?df=sample.dat&ft=0">).
  2. If the code includes "sample.dat", replace the word "sample" with your Frontier, FrontierNet, Citlink, Newnorth, Epix, or GVNI username.
  3. If the code includes "lit=0123456", replace it with "df=username.dat" where "username" is your Frontier/FrontierNet/Citlink/Newnorth/Epix/GVNI username.
  4. Place the revised code on your web page in the spot where you want it to appear.
  5. Launch the  Frontier Account Editor* to set up a web counter data file or else your web counter will not work.
