Non-Connecticut customers: If everything is working well, your BBU or PSU will have a steady green light illuminated. If not, here are some troubleshooting tips.
If your BBU or PSU has no lights illuminated then it has no power. Use another electrical device (such as a lamp or a hair dryer) to make sure the electrical outlet is working. If it is working, but your BBU/PSU has no power, please call FiOS Technical Support for assistance.

If your BBU or PSU has a steady red light after a reboot then the battery may need to be replaced. Your battery has a one-year warranty from the date of FiOS service installation. If your battery is in-warranty a replacement can be shipped to you at no cost. If it is out-of-warranty, you will be responsible for replacing the battery.
