Please read the Frontier Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). All Frontier customers must abide by these rules.

Here are Frontier's policies regarding some specific topics:

  • Frontier cannot support your company's Virtual Private Network (VPN) because we support connectivity of High-Speed Internet connection to one PC only. We recommend contacting the manufacturer of your VPN software or the organization you are attempting to network with for assistance.
  • No email sent to a Frontier customer will be accepted from an IP address without a reverse DNS record. Also, Frontier may block or rate-limit mail from email sources that do not have matching forward and reverse DNS records. Although this method filters spam, it sometimes blocks valid email. If someone is having trouble sending you email, and is getting this error:
    553 sorry, your mail server (XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX) is rejected. Reverse DNS queries for your mail server IP fail.
    …they need to contact their Internet Service Provider for assistance.
  • Frontier customers may use the following Network Time Protocol (NTP) server addresses:
    ntp01.frontier.com
    ntp02.frontier.com
