On Demand from FiOS® TV lets you watch your favorite movies, TV shows, premium channel content and other programming any time you want. Frontier FiOS® TV provides a large library of On Demand titles and has programming defined into categories such as:
|Kids Free||All Free|
Programs provided for a fee can be ordered through the FiOS® TV Interactive Media Guide (IMG). Those charges will appear on your monthly bill. You may occasionally experience issues accessing On Demand programming. Most of the time you can resolve this issue by unplugging your router for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in. Once you've done that, check to see if your On Demand programming appears. If this doesn't resolve the issue, you can check the following:
- If you have a Network Interface Module (NIM) at your location, make sure it is plugged in and that all the connections are secure.
- Check your router to make sure all connections are correct and secure.
- Make sure you have access to the On Demand programming you want to view. For example, to watch an HBO On Demand program, you must be an HBO subscriber. Note: If you are using a Cable Card-equipped device, such as TiVo®, you will not be able to access On Demand content.
- If you have a VoIP router, make sure the router Frontier provided you is connected first (before the VoIP router). Not doing so can degrade the quality of both your On Demand and Internet service.
Note: You may want to block Pay-Per-View programming, On Demand programming or adult content. Frontier FiOS® TV Parental Controls let you block access to programming either by channel or rating. You can also selectively block PPV and On Demand purchases, and choose to show or hide adult programming from the TV Listings. When programs with a particular rating level are blocked, the FiOS® TV IMG automatically blocks the higher ratings. You can create a PIN so that controls won't be changed without your approval. Only those with the user-defined PIN can access the blocked content.
