Recording TV

When you record TV programming with your Set Top Box:

  • You can watch recorded shows on any of your Set Top Boxes, but you can only record on the main DVR hub.
  • If you want to watch record shows on a 2500 model Set Top Box, you'll need to them in Standard Definition from your DVR. The 2500 Series of Set Top Boxes cannot view High Definition recordings.
  • You can watch HD recorded programs if you have an HD model Set Top Box. Be aware that HDTV uses a larger amount of your DVR's memory, and stores fewer hours of taped recordings.
  • If you turn off the television in the middle of a recording, your DVR bookmarks where you stopped watching the show. When you view the recording again, the program resumes where you left off.
