No, streaming services are independent from Frontier services. Frontier provides the broadband connection on which the stream service travels and you will need a broadband speed sufficient to support streaming. If a you have an issue with a streaming service, you’ll need to contact your provider directly.
While Frontier TV provides excellent entertainment and TV programming along with our own streaming services, you do NOT need a Frontier TV subscription to stream from other providers. You do need a broadband connection of sufficient speed to support streaming.
No, Frontier technicians are not trained to install equipment that Frontier does not sell.
No, you cannot stream through your DVR. However, most Internet and TV providers offer DVR services to record live content, sometimes for an additional fee. Also, each provider has different storage limits for their DVR service.
That depends on the streaming provider and the package you choose. Most packages offer multi-streaming anywhere from 3-5 simultaneous streams. Your Frontier connection must be fast enough to support multi-streaming for an optimal multi-streaming experience.
You should check with your streaming provider(s) regarding their terms of service. In addition, all billing questions should be directed to the provider(s) you choose for streaming services.
