Does only one of your phones have static and the others sound clear?

Plug the phone with static into the wall jack where the clear-sounding phone is now.

You may have an issue with the phone wiring in one phone jack in your home.

If you prefer, you may choose to hire an electrician instead.

If one phone has static no matter where you plug it in, the problem is with that phone.

If your phone takes a battery, try putting in a new one. If your phone doesn’t use a battery, it may be damaged. You may need to replace it.
