Priority Call/VIP Alert

With Priority Call/VIP Alert, you can now program up to 12 (in some areas up to 15) telephone numbers with a special ring, enabling you to distinguish certain incoming calls from all others.

Task How To
Use Priority Call/VIP Alert
  • Listen for a dial tone on your phone.
  • Press 6 1 and listen for an announcement telling you whether the service is on or off. The announcement will also let you know how many numbers you have stored.
  • Press 3 to turn the service on or off. Wait for voice instructions.
Manage your list
  • Press 1 to hear the phone numbers on your list. Wait for voice instructions.
  • Press # to add a number to your list. Wait for voice instructions.
  • Press to remove a number from your list. Wait for voice instructions.
  • Press 0 to hear the instructions again.

Notes:

  • If you have Call Waiting, calls from selected numbers will alert you with a special Call Waiting tone.
  • Any calls made to you from outside your defined calling area or through an operator will ring normally.
