New York State allows certain qualified low-income individuals to get broadband service at a discounted rate. Qualified individuals can get 200 Mb Fiber Broadband for $19.99/mo. or Frontier Broadband internet for $14.99 /mo. where available.

Who qualifies for the New York Low Income Program?

Residents of New York state who currently receive, or are eligible for:

  • Medicaid
  • U.S. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
  • Free or reduced-priced lunch through the National School Lunch Program
  • Eligible for, or enrolled in senior citizen rent increase exemption
  • Eligible for, or enrolled in disability rent increase exemption
  • A recipient of an affordability benefit from a utility

How do I apply for the program?

If you’ve ordered, or currently have, Frontier fiber broadband service of 200 Mb or above, you may qualify for this program. If you have service higher than 200 Mb and your application is approved, you would be moved to 200 Mb service and receive the $19.99/mo. rate.

Check to see if you qualify

You must certify that you or someone in your household currently receives benefits from a qualifying government program or your income to receive the New York Low Income offer.

Apply for the program

Complete a short, digital application and submit with documentation for review. Allow for 7-10 business days for the documents to be reviewed.

Look for a bill adjustment

Once approved, a price adjustment on your bill should appear within two billing cycles. Billing adjustments are not retroactive and are only adjusted for future bill cycles.
