What is Identity Protection?

Identity Protection helps detect suspicious activity with your personal information and financial accounts. It can help you respond quickly to potentially fraudulent actions and keep you from becoming a victim of identity theft.

What’s included with Identity Protection?

Identity Protection has two key parts: Personal Information Monitoring and Credit Bureau Monitoring and Reporting. With Identity Protection, you get the following features and support:

Credit monitoring

Monitors your credit reports and credit score from each of the three major bureaus (Experian®, Equifax®, and TransUnion®) alerting you of key changes that could be early indicators of fraud

Dark Web Monitoring

CyberAgent® Dark Web Monitoring alerts consumers if a threat to their identity is found on the dark web and other known malicious sites.

SSN Trace Monitoring

You will receive a notification if your SSN is used to access credit, make purchases, commit crimes, and if a new name, nickname, or address becomes linked to your SSN.

Identity Theft Insurance

Up to $1M in Identity Theft Insurance reimburses you for eligible out-of-pocket identity restoration expenses, including legal fees, childcare and elder care costs, and even loan reapplication fees.

Full-Service Restoration

Recover from an identity theft event more quickly with the support of certified restoration specialists. Our bilingual agents help guide you through the process of restoring what is rightfully yours.

Lost Wallet Assistance

Identity Protection gives you a digital wallet where you can easily save and store your payment and identification information. If your physical wallet is lost or stolen, you can quickly replace and cancel cards.

Child Social Media Alerts

Sharing too much personal information on social media can risk a child’s identity, safety, reputation, and expose them to bullying.  If your child posts something questionable on social media, you’ll get an alert.

Additionally, your whole family can be protected with the optional Identity Protection Family Add-On.  This provides full coverage for an additional adult and protection for up to 10 dependent children.
