What is Frontier Secure PWD™?

The Frontier Secure PWD app securely stores your login and personal information including usernames, passwords and credit card details and syncs your information across all devices where the app is installed. You access the app with a single master password.

How do I install and set up Frontier Secure PWD?

To install Frontier Secure PWD, sign in to your Frontier Secure account. Select the Password Manager tab and follow the instructions and follow the instructions for your device.

PC

  1. From the Password Manager tab, select Install now.
  2. Download the .msi file and follow the prompts on your screen.
Mac
  1. From the Password Manager tab, select Install now.
  2. Download the .msi file and drag the application icon on top of the installation folder.
  3. Follow the prompts on your screen.
Android
  1. Download the Frontier Secure PWD app.
  2. Sign in using your Frontier Secure credentials.
  3. Enter a master password.
  4. Tap Get Started.
iOS (Apple)
  1. Download the Frontier Secure PWD app.
  2. Sign in using your Frontier Secure credentials.
  3. Enter a master password.
  4. Tap Done.

Set up and manage your QR recovery code

If you forget your master password, the only way to recover it is through a QR recovery code. This strongly encrypted code can only be decrypted, or understood, on one of your synced devices.

We strongly recommend you create a QR recovery code as soon as you install Frontier Secure PWD. Here’s how to create a QR recovery code on your computer or mobile device.

Computer
  1. Sign in to Frontier Secure PWD.
  2. Click Settings then Create Recovery Code.
  3. Click Save and select a location where you want to store the file on your computer. Print this file and store it in a secure location.
Mobile device
  1. Sign in to the Frontier Secure app for Android or iOS.
  2. Go to Menu then Settings and tap Create Recovery Code. A QR code will be generated.
  3. Save the image to your device.
