Click SIGN IN and enter YOUR EMAIL Select the appropriate provider from list Enter subscriber’s provider username and password Create an account Set up profiles and start streaming! Is your customer subscribed to HBO Max through Verizon Perks or the Disney+, Hulu, and HBO Max bundle? Follow these steps: Click SIGN IN, then SIGN IN again (if on a mobile device) Enter the email address and password used when signing up for the HBO Max subscription Choose your profile and start streaming!

Can Spanish speaking customers update the app so it is in Spanish?

Yes! Spanish Speaking Customers now have the option to experience the HBO Max App in Spanish! To update this customers must: Select “Edit” on the Who Is Watching Page and select the profile you want to change to Spanish Navigate to “Display Language” setting Select “Espanol” Select “Done” to save Customers can also enjoy their programming in Spanish with Spanish subtitles when available by selecting “Details” on a title and selecting “Spanish.” Once a customer turns on Spanish dubbing or subtitles all programming will default to this setting.

Yes! HBO Max includes programming highlighting cultures from around the world, including: Latin heritage with English and Spanish options, like Sierra Madre: No Trespassing, and Fantasmas. Asian heritage collections from HBO Asia, The Sympathizer, Studio Ghibli films, and Velma. Subscribers can enjoy global options in their preferred language by using closed captions or changing the language audio, when available.

Customers can stream HBO Max when traveling to a country or region where HBO Max is available. They can also play shows and movies that they have already downloaded. Here’s what happens when customers travel to a country where HBO Max is available: Shows and movies: The selection of shows and movies on HBO Max will change based on your customer’s physical location. As a result, they may not be able to watch some titles on their Continue Watching and My List when they travel to another country. Downloads: Customers can play shows and movies that they have already downloaded on their phone or tablet.* Here’s what happens if you travel to a country where HBO Max is not available: You’ll get a ‘This is Uncharted Territory’ message and you won’t be able to stream HBO Max. You can, however, still play shows and movies that you’ve already downloaded.* *Downloads are only available with the HBO Max Standard and HBO Max Premium Plans. Downloads are not available with the HBO Max Basic With Ads Plan.

Yes! Spanish Speaking Customers now have the option to experience the HBO Max App in Spanish! To update this customers must:

Customers can create up to 5 profiles, including profiles just for kids, plus profile PINs for adults, audio descriptions on select titles, and more.

Yes! HBO programming is available simultaneously* on the HBO Max app. Additionally, if your customer’s subscription includes HBO channels and/or On Demand, there will be no change to those services.

*Most titles are available on the HBO Max app at the same time they premiere on HBO linear.

Cinemax remains a separate service and is not a part of a HBO Max subscription.

Yes! Live programming of select games from the MLB, NHL, USSF and NCAA, along with highlights and other high quality sports entertainment are available in the HBO Max Standard and HBO Max Premium Tiers. There will be no impact on games that customers can currently view via TV channels, including those in video packages with providers. HBO Max Standard and HBO Max Premium will provide an additional way to access select games that are also available via TV channels. Live sports will include the same commercials that air during the TV broadcast of the event.

No, customers don’t need to take any action. The app will refresh automatically in the background, so everything will update seamlessly without requiring a re-download. There’s nothing to worry about!
