If you currently have no power

Be aware of the following:

  • TV and Internet will not work
  • Your FiOS® Digital Voice and Vantage™ Voice phone service will work for a minimum of 8 hours if a fully-charged battery is inserted in the Battery Backup Unit in your Optical Network Terminal (ONT)
  • External ONT is mounted near your water or gas meter
  • Internal ONT is mounted on the wall near your electrical panel
  • Your Battery Backup Unit (BBU) or Power Supply Unit (PSU) is mounted on a wall inside your home
