If you're tired of receiving unwanted telemarketing phone calls, here are three different ways to help you stop them.
The National Do Not Call Registry
Backed by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, the Do Not Call Registry lets you register your home or mobile phone number for free. The registration never expires.
Go to www.donotcall.gov and click Register Your Phone. You can register up to three different phone numbers. Enter your email address, then reply to the verification email when you receive it.
The Registry will not block calls from charities, political calls, surveys and information calls. It will not block calls from a company or organization that has a relationship with you. To stop calls from any of these companies or groups, you must ask them to take you off their list. They are required to honor your request.
If you're a FiOS® Digital Voice or Vantage™ Voice customer, you can use Nomorobo—a free service that blocks recorded phone calls from telemarketers. To use Nomorobo, go to www.nomorobo.com/signup and sign up with these easy steps:
- Choose your landline carrier (Frontier)

You will receive an email with complete directions on how to choose the settings to stop these calls to your number.
