Your Frontier Digital Voice service uses electrical power to function. If you lose power, you will require a Battery Backup Unit (BBU) to power your phone and keep it connected to make phone calls, including emergency 911 calls.

To be sure you are protected with this function, find your service below to order a Battery Backup Unit. Installing any Battery Backup Unit is optional for all Frontier Digital Voice customers. Please note: Battery backup only provides access to your Digital Voice service during a power outage. It will not work for your Frontier Internet and/or Video Service.
