How to use voicemail with Unlimited Digital Voice

Listen to messages from anywhere, manage your calls and messages, update your personal greeting and so much more with your Unlimited Digital Voice voicemail.


How to set up voicemail

Follow the steps below to set up voicemail from your current phone or from another phone.

  1. Dial the access number provided to you (or get one here). Or, dial your telephone number and press the star button when you hear the greeting.

    Note: If you’re setting up voicemail from another phone, you’ll need to enter your 10-digit telephone number next.

  2. Enter your temporary passcode.
  3. Create a new 6-13 digit passcode. Note your passcode in a safe place so you don’t lose it.
  4. Record your name and new greeting.

    Access voicemail messages online

    You can access voicemail as easily as email, right from your smartphone or computer.

    1. Sign in to your Frontier account.
    2. Select View active services.
    3. Select Open Settings under your voice product tile.
    4. Choose Voicemails from the menu.

      Reset or change your voicemail passcode

      It’s important to remember the passcode you set because it’ll be disabled after 3 incorrect tries. To change your passcode, follow the instructions below.

      Change your voicemail passcode (PIN) by phone

      1. Press 4 for mailbox settings
      2. Press 3 for security options.
      3. Press 1 to change your passcode and follow the instructions. Please note: Your new passcode must be at least 6 digits.

      Change your voicemail passcode by web portal

      1. Sign in to your Frontier account.
      2. Select View active services.
      3. Select Open Settings under your voice product tile.
      4. Choose Settings from the menu.
      5. Click the Voicemail Settings tab.
      6. Click Voicemail Passcode and follow the instructions. Please note: Your new passcode must be at least 6 digits.
