Disconnect your VPN software.
Test your internet connection for a while without VPN. If your connection is better, the VPN software is likely the problem.

Your company’s VPN software is slowing down your internet speed.
Contact technical support at your company and describe the problem you’re having. They may be able to give you a more compatible version of the VPN software to use.
Remember to disconnect your VPN software when you’re not working.

Are any devices using large amounts of data on your home network?
If there is a device connected to your wireless network that’s busy streaming movies or playing high-intensity video games, pause that activity.

For Frontier Internet customers (not Fiber Internet customers), let’s make sure all your active phone lines have a properly connected filter:
Plug the phone line from each landline telephone into the filter port marked Phone.
Plug the phone line running to your DSL modem into the filter port marked DSL.
