Your Frontier® TV / Vantage™ TV service offers accessibility solutions for customers with disabilities. Find out how to turn on Audible Navigation, Descriptive Video Service, and Closed Captioning using your remote control.
Enable Audible Navigation
This feature allows you to navigate through the system using voice prompts. The talking guide is available in English and Spanish.
- Select Menu button
- Press arrow down four times to select Options
- Press OK button
- Press down arrow twice to select Audio/language
- Press right arrow six times to select Audio Navigation
- Press OK button
- Press right arrow to select Enabled
- Press OK button
- Press left arrow to select Done
- Press OK button to save
- To turn audible navigation off follow same steps above, selecting the bottom option Disabled
Enable Descriptive Video Service
This feature provides a narrative during your show's key visual elements. Narration incorporates natural pauses during program dialogue for a rich, entertainment experience. It may not be available for all channels.
- Press Menu button
- Press down arrow four times to select Options
- Press OK button
- Press down arrow twice to select Audio/language
- Press right arrow twice to select the Spanish option
- Press OK button
Enable or disable Closed Caption
This feature subtitles the audio portion of a video program providing on-screen text for dialogue, narration and sound effects.
- Press the red "c" button
The Closed Captioning icon is present on programming when captions are available.
