If you decide to change your Frontier email address (username) and/or password, you'll need to store that new information in your email program. Here are step-by-step instructions to change your email address for Mac Mail, Outlook and Windows Live Mail.
To update or change your username in Mac Mail:
| 1 | Launch Mac Mail and click Mail in the top menu |
| 2 | Click Preferences |
| 3 | Click on the Accounts tab |
| 4 | Enter your full email address in the User Name field. If your password has changed, enter your new password in the Password field. |
| 5 | Close the Accounts window and Save your changes. |
Instructions for the PC versions of Microsoft Outlook 2010, 2013, or 2016
Outlook Version 2010 for PC
To update or change your username in Microsoft Outlook 2010:| 1 | Launch Outlook and click File from the menu at the top of the screen |
| 2 | Click Account Settings |
| 3 | Click the email account that you are updating and then click Change |
| 4 | Enter your full email address in the User Name and Email Address fields. If your password has changed, enter your new password in the Password field. |
| 5 | Click Next > Finish > Close. |
Outlook Version 2013 or 2016 for PC
To update or change your username in Microsoft Outlook 2016:
| 1 | Launch Outlook and click File from the menu at the top of the screen |
| 2 | Click Account Settings |
| 3 | From the drop-down menu that appears click Account Settings again |
| 4 | Click the email account that you are updating and then click Change |
| 5 | Enter your full email address in the User Name and Email Address fields. If your password has changed, enter your new password in the Password field. |
| 6 | Click Next > Finish > Close. |

To update or change your username in Microsoft Outlook for Macintosh
| 1 | Launch Outlook and select Outlook from the menu at the top of the screen |
| 2 | Click on Preferences from the drop-down menu |

To update or change your username in Windows Live Mail 2008:
| 1 | Launch Windows Live Mail, from the left-hand side menu, right click on the account you need to change |
| 2 | Click Properties from the menu for the account you wish to edit |
| 3 | Enter your full email address in the Email address field |
| 4 | Click the Servers tab |
| 5 | Enter your full email address in the Email Username field. If your password has changed, enter your new password in the Password field. |
| 6 | Click Settings and verify that Use same settings as my incoming mail server is selected and click OK |
| 7 | Click Apply and then click OK. |
Windows Live Mail Version 2011
To update or change your username in Windows Live Mail 2011:
| 1 | Launch Live Mail and click Accounts in the menu at the top of the screen |
| 2 | Click Properties |
| 3 | Enter your full email address in the Email address field |
| 4 | Click the Servers tab |
